About the Pilot Green and Sustainable Finance Capacity Building Support Scheme
As announced by the Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Hong Kong) in the 2022-23 Budget Speech, the Pilot Green and Sustainable Finance Capacity Building Support Scheme aims to support talent development in Green and Sustainable Finance by providing subsidies to market practitioners as well as prospective practitioners in taking up relevant training and acquiring relevant professional qualifications.

The Essentials in Sustainable Finance Programme is an eligible programme under this scheme. Eligible applicants may apply for reimbursement of relevant fees upon successful completion of Eligible Programmes, subject to a ceiling of HK$10,000 and other conditions. About the Essentials in Sustainable Finance Programme

Programme Fee: HK$4250
This Programme is structured as below:

5 self-paced digital courses in sustainable finance​
-
1 livestreamed soft-skills course focused on careers in sustainable finance
​
Once participants successfully complete all the assessments (passing scores of 80% for each course) and attend the livestreamed soft-skills course, they will be awarded a certificate of completion for the Programme.
​
Digital courses and their individual assessments are online and self-paced. Livestreamed sessions are held quarterly.
